I do not try to depict reality,
nor do I feel the need
to capture everything that simply exists.
Colour,
contrast and texture bring
dimension to the canvas, it breaths
and becomes visible.
My art is a fusion of culture,
energy and gesture,
this can crackle with energy or
simply whisper deep yearnings.
Between
the dream and fantasy,
between what is and what could be,
